About Matterhorn Mountain

The Matterhorn, Switzerland’s most iconic mountain, is the kind of peak that will make you love the adventures of Switzerland. With its near-perfect pyramid shape and dramatic ridges, it has become a symbol of the Swiss Alps. But what really made the Matterhorn famous is the adventure, history, and good old-fashioned danger it provides! In 1865, the first successful ascent ended in tragedy when four climbers fell to their deaths.

Whether you’re a mountaineer, a nature lover, or just someone who wants a great selfie, this place has something for everyone. If you’re planning a trip, you’ll find some fantastic Switzerland tour packages that include train rides and scenic hikes around this Alpine wonder.
