The Awantipura Ruins, located around 30 km from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir, are the remnants of ancient Hindu temples built in the 9th century by King Avantivarman of the Utpala dynasty. These majestic ruins are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, showcasing impressive architectural brilliance and intricate stone carvings that reflect the rich heritage of Kashmir.
